Select how many sets you’d like - whether it’s a backup or long-term coverage for the year. Then, choose whether you'd like to take impression moulds at home or get a 3D scan from a clinic nearby. If you already have a scan, you can send us it via email.

We’ll use your existing Jawology scan, or you can take new impressions at home or a 3D scan in-clinic.

Can I order retainers using scans/STL files I already have (from my orthodontist, a previous provider, or overseas)?
Yes - if you've had a 3D scan at your dentist or other provider in the last 12 months feel free to send it through and order the "In-Clinic (3D Scan)" option. This will allow us to get your retainers made right away for you.
Which option should I choose when ordering - the at-home impression kit or an in-clinic 3D scan?
It really comes down to how you'd like to get started. We generally recommend the in-clinic 3D scan, since it's quicker and gives our team the most accurate impression to work from. That said, the at-home Impression Kit is a great option too - especially if you're not near one of our partner clinics, or you'd simply prefer to do the whole process from home. Either option gets you the same quality retainer.
Can I order retainers even if I've never done Jawology aligner treatment (e.g. previous Invisalign, or I'm just happy with my teeth)?
Yes, absolutely! You don't need to have done a Jawology aligner treatment to order retainers from us. Whether you've previously had Invisalign, braces, or another provider's aligners - or you're simply happy with your smile and just want a retainer to keep it that way, you're welcome to order through us.
Is the retainer material safe?
Yes. Our retainers are made from Zendura FLX, a medical-grade polyurethane material purpose-built for orthodontic aligners and retainers. It's BPA-free, phthalate-free, and gluten-free, and has been independently tested for biocompatibility, so it's safe for everyday, long-term wear in the mouth. Zendura FLX is also known for its durability and crack resistance - it holds its shape and clarity well over time, which is part of why it's a trusted choice across the orthodontic industry, not just for us.
